Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the serene Ziller Valley, Riemenerhof offers a charming glimpse into rural Austrian life. The cozy en-suite rooms, complete with balconies overlooking lush greenery, provide a tranquil retreat. The daily farm activities involving cows, rabbits, and a friendly dog add a delightful touch to the stay. My experience was enriched by the warm hospitality of the hostess, despite the language barrier. The property's proximity to outdoor activities like skiing, cycling, and hiking makes it a haven for nature enthusiasts. The children's playground and friendly farm animals create a welcoming atmosphere for families. Sonia, our gracious host, ensured our comfort and even drove us to a local music festival, enhancing our cultural experience. The free parking and nearby amenities, like the restaurant and grocery shop, add convenience to the stay. Though language differences exist, the personal touch and genuine warmth of the hostess make this farm stay a hidden gem in Fügen. I left feeling truly at home, eager to return for another authentic Austrian experience.
